iPhonetography. Can’t wait to set up the shoot with this beautiful e30. This guy just moved up here from Tennessee and I spent a good half hour talking with him this evening at the grocery.

I can easily say that if I were to ever open my own coffee shop and include my love for cycling, that it would have the aesthetic, the design and the atmosphere of The Hub in Springfield Missouri. Owned by Jason Strother, this coffee shop has the organic homemade feel that many coffee enthusiasts long for but can never find in this saturated world of places...
This is my absolutely amazing and beautiful girlfriend… oh and me.

So over the past few years since I started shooting automotive photography, I have rarely taken photoshop to a level other than minor tweaks in the curves and selective color, with a clone stamp here and there. Here is my first attempt at using HDR. Let me know what you all think. Honestly!
Hopped into the archives and grabbed this shot of a GTR I shot two years ago.

This was later today, I decided to go out on a cruise and location scout and just have a relaxing afternoon. It was definitely relaxing and it was absolutely beautiful out :)
My sister, a first year grad student at the University of Cincinnati’s DAAP program, teaches junior high and highschool students in an art class every Saturday afternoon. Her students had an art gallery today and the work was pretty impressive!
Here is a quick portrait I shot of my sister and some cool architecture and art work from college students in the DAAP program.

Jean-François Flechet, founder of Taste of Belgium, grew up near Liège, Belgium, where the waffles originate.
He came to the U.S. 10 years ago to pursue a PhD in Economics at the University of Pennsylvania and then moved to Cincinnati to work for a market research company.
On a trip back home, wandering in Brussels, he recognized the smell of the waffles he grew up with, talked for a few hours...
Mark and Ian are the creative and amazing masterminds behind the garage/shop EuroFixx in Cincinnati, Ohio. I was able to get ahold of a Nikon D700 and a 105mm f/2.8 lens today for some natural light portraits at the shop. Open shade lighting from the open garage door provided a nice dramatic lighting which gave an emotional touch. Aside from that, here are some fucking badass portraits of these...
Ian’s Magnaflow exhaust for his BMW e30. He’s doing all the welding for custom piping himself. This thing is going to sound mean! We did the 5 speed manual swap into it this past Friday.

Think Coffee /// NYC 2012.
The left image was shot with my D300 and the right was with my iPhone 4! Thought I’d mix it up! This was a pretty amazing little coffee shop I found on Bleeker St. in New York City over the weekend. I was only in the actual city for 24 hours, so I didn’t do much photo work…
